     Kenneth Eugene Mann was born on May 23, 1951, at St. Catherine’s Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska to Max and NaDean (Roundy) Mann. He lived in Woodbine, Iowa until he moved with his mom to Denver, Colorado when he was 12. At the age of 17, Kenny moved back to Woodbine to farm and raise hogs with his grandfather, Miles Mann. During his time in Woodbine he became the father of three children, Chad, Gayla and Jamie. In 1975 Kenny and his children moved to Missouri Valley where he met Daleth (Bierce) Dunn. They were married on February 17, 1979, and to this union two children were born, Trena Leth and Darin Kenneth. Kenny purchased his first Peterbilt truck in 1977 and he hauled Garst seed corn and other farm commodities relentlessly. The family moved to Blair, Nebraska where Kenny signed a lease with Con-E-Co and he started hauling oversize loads of machines that were used to make roads. He purchased more trucks and a building for his business that he established, KEM Trucking. He was very good at logistics, along with being a very honest businessman, which led him to have much success with many hauls from coast to coast. Kenny also understood the importance of balancing business time and family time and made it a priority to be home for birthdays and holidays. After he stopped trucking, he worked for Con-E-Co in the shipping department. Kenny then moved to Pella, Iowa where he started a successful towing company, KEM Towing. He also purchased a small ranch where he raised cattle. Kenny retired and sold his tow truck business in 2021, but continued to raise cattle and assist with deliveries when calves were born.

     Kenny enjoyed the companionship of his dog, Dakota and traveling to Omaha to spend time with his children and grandchildren.

     In January of 2023, Kenny was diagnosed with a glioblastoma and on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at the age of 71, he lost his battle. He fought a hard fight with his family by his side, and had accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

     Kenny was preceded in death by his parents; son, Chad Eugene Mann; stepson, Trevore Dunn; grandson, Ryan Gibbons; brother, Terry Mann; and grandparents, Ralph and Agnes Roundy and Miles and Iva Mann. He will be greatly missed by his daughter, Trena (Mark Nightser); son, Darin (Beth) Mann; grandchildren, Laylah and Kellan Mann; siblings, Ron Mann, Keith (Diana) Mann and Linda (Terry) Steel; stepmother, Gerry (Don) Otte; best K9 friend, Dakota; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
