Kenny Norwood, age 51 of Del Rio, passed away, Monday, August 25, 2025. He was an avid bear hunter. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Harrison Norwood, Pearl Norwood, Verlie Stokely Norton, and Jess Stokely. He is survived by his wife Robin Norwood of Del Rio; Father Don (Gaylelynne) Norwood of Del Rio; mother Jodi Norwood; son Kyle Norwood of Washburn; step-son Eric Maloy of Jefferson City; sisters Tracy (Wade) Griffith of Cosby, Autumn (Micah) Holt of Del Rio, and Amber Austin of Florida; special nieces and nephews Caleb Griffith, Annie Black, Jessica Owenby, Will Griffith, Michael Gibson, and Noah Ramsey; and special cousin Tonia "Sissy" Norwood; also several nieces, nephews, his bear hunting family, and other family members and friends. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m., Thursday, August 28, 2025 with funeral services following at 7 p.m. in the Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Vaughn Burgin officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m., Friday, August 29, 2025 in the Norwood Cemetery. Family and friends may meet at Manes Funeral Home 10:00 am or the Brushy Mountain Bear Club Pavilion in Del Rio at 10:30 am Friday. Family and friends may sign the guest register online at www.manesfuneralhome.com. Arrangements by Manes Funeral Home.
