Kenrick Kellman

Kenrick Hubert Fitzgerald Kellman, Jr. was born on January 27, 1947, in Plaisance, East Coast Demerara, Guyana. He was the eldest of nine children born to the late Kendrick and Eva Kellman.

He departed this life on July 31, 2025, in New Jersey, USA.

Kenrick attended Mackenzie Primary School in his early days, then Kitty High School in Georgetown. He returned to Mackenzie (Linden), where he continued his studies at Hope High School and later Preston High School.

In April 2006, he migrated to the USA and worked at Home Depot in Bloomfield, NJ. During his tenure there he was rewarded with numerous awards for Service Excellence and Outstanding achievements for his knowledge of machinery and tools.

Kenrick loved outdoor sports and activities, and with his love for the game of football (soccer) he made remarkable strides moving forward to being selected in the first batch of five FIFA referees in Guyana. He was later commended by the sports committee for his outstanding achievements and commitment to sports in the community. Kenrick was also a motorcycle enthusiast who loved racing and later became the motorcycle champion in the 1970's.

Kenrick was employed by Demerara Bauxite Company (Guymine) as a machinist in his early years. He was the father of Alexis, Curtez (Marcia), Shawn (faith), Samantha (Sean ), Sadina (Lennox), Sharnia, Shamilla, Sherwin (Monay), Shem, and Daneal.

Loving grandfather to Andrea, Curtisha, Latiffah, Tjefana, Shemroy, Curtez (Jr), Orlando, Miranda, Jenaya, Cassidy, Latisha, Amayia, Durvin (Jr), Krystal, Malahi, Jamari, Jamaya, Jamara, Elania.

Caring great grandfather of Malia, Zoey, Ava, Josiah,Cori, Kyra, Islah.

Loving brother of Hazel, Keith, Patsy, Barbara, Clairmonte, Yvette, Sandra, and Kelvin.

Kenrick leaves to mourn his Uncle Sydney and Aunt Inez, brother in law of 14, many nieces, nephews , numerous relatives and friends.

The family of Kenrick Kellman would like to thank the staff of Park Crescent Nursing Home for their compassion and care for the five years he was there. To all those who sent prayers, words of encouragement, condolences, we acknowledge your thoughtfulness, expression of kindness and sympathy.

Kenrick will be deeply missed by his loving wife Carmen, his 10 children, his grandchildren, great grandchildren, his siblings, uncle Sydney, aunt Inez, many in laws, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
