Kent Howard Borror, age 61, formerly of Antioch, TN and Bolingbrook IL passed away at home suddenly on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, from a massive heart attack. Kent was born to Ralph and Joyce Borror on April 16, 1962, in Oak Park, IL.
Kent is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Dana Borror (nee Burnette), three beautiful daughters Brooklyn Grimes, Jessica Meyers (Joe) Shaffer, and Kendra Biggs, his grandsons Jayce, John and Weston, his father Ralph Borror, his mother-in-law, Rosalyn Ellis and his two brothers, Kevin (Carole) Borror, Kris (Janet) Borror, and sister-in-law Rhonda (Robbie) Moore. He is also survived by his nephew and nieces, Brandon, Kaitlyn, Dana and Candace, numerous cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, and a legion of friends who loved him, and were loved by him. He was proceeded in death by his beloved mother Joycetta Elizabeth Borror (nee Goodnight), and his grandparents Betty and Howard Lambert, Claude and Dessie Borror, all of Indiana.
Kent held many titles in his life, but his favorite role was being a father and grandfather. He loved nothing more than spending time with his children and doting on his three grandsons.
Kent was immensely generous, and passionate about giving back. He was always the first to volunteer a helping hand. While Kent left us far too soon, the positive impact he had on our community will be felt for many years to come. He burst with personality and had a great ability to make others smile with his animated stories and sense of humor, which will be greatly missed. "Big K" was larger than life, a fierce protector of his loved ones, and a loyal friend.
In lieu of services, the family is planning a Celebration of Life for friends and family that will be announced when preparations can be made.
