Patricia Singleton Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Smith Family Funeral & Crematory Services, LLC - Smyrna on Dec. 2, 2025.
Patricia (Trish) Singleton is preceded in death by her father, Martin Porter McGill. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Singleton; her children, Ashley Roush of Spring Hill, Tennessee, Garrett Singleton (Kim) of Smyrna, Tennessee, Derek Singleton (Audrey) of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Davin and Ellie Roush, and Ridge and Sydney Singleton; her mother, Lynn McGill; her brother, Martin Eric McGill (DeeLa) of Brentwood, Tennessee; and her niece Erica McGill, and nephews Sheldon and Braxton McGill.
Trish was born in Nashville, Tennessee. She resided in Smyrna, Tennessee with her husband. She was a graduate of Page High School. She worked as an employee of Metropolitan Nashville & Davidson County. She dearly loved her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking and baking. Her kitchen was a warm gathering place for any and all to enjoy. Trish was a fixture at the baseball field where she watched her grandson Davin play baseball. Davin now plays at Robeson Community College. She also enjoyed watching her granddaughter Ellie perform with her school's band and drum line and always celebrated her musical achievements with pride. Trish treasured moments with Ridge and Sydney, her youngest grandchildren, who brought extra joy, laughter, and a sense of fun to every family gathering. She loved seeing the world through their eyes and cherished their hugs and playful spirits. She enjoyed traveling with her family, which included beach trips, hikes out West, and theme parks where she loved the thrill of wonderful roller coaster rides. Trish also often could be found on her daily walks with her beloved dog, Nike.
Trish's family would like to extend a special thanks to Tennessee Oncology and to all her family and friends who have prayed for her and offered Trish and her loved ones love and support.
