Kent Lanier Obituary
Kent Anthony Lanier, 39, of Charlotte passed away on August 2, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was born on August 13, 1981 to the late Kenneth and Sheila Lanier. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his uncle, Leeboo Melton and grandmother, Mildred Sue Hall. Kent loved driving and listening to rap music. He had a positive upbeat personality and was a hardworking loving father. He was adored by his little girl and will be missed by many.
Survivors include his daughter, Aubrey F. Lanier; brother, Kenny Lanier and wife Mandie; grandmother, Pansy Doby; grandfather, RJ Melton; uncles, Robert Melton, Michael Lanier, Junior Lanier, and Randy Lanier; aunt, NeNe Bolick (Renee); nephew, Koby Lanier; and best friend, Kristi Kilgore.
Services are being held privately by the family.
