Kenton "Kent" Kirkpatrick Obituary
Graveside service for Kenton “Kent” Kirkpatrick, age 62, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 2:30 P.M on Monday, October 30, 2023 at Greenpond Cemetery with Bro. Paul Ray Vititow officiating and Kerry Coker, Jerry Coker, Justin Blount, Deryl Leewright, Ronnie Reneau and Jacob Lively serving as pallbearers. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Mark Collins, Buddy Moorhead, Wes Carswell and Larry Walls. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mr. Kirkpatrick passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.
Kenton Gerald Kirkpatrick was born on April 17, 1961 in Ruston, LA to Gerald Kirkpatrick and Yvonne C. Spencer. He was a karate instructor and practitioner of which he had won many awards. He was a skilled photographer and he had many other talents.
He is survived by his sons, Kenton Kirkpatrick Jr, and wife, Amanda of Justin TX, Brandon Kirkpatrick and wife, Lauren of Wylie, TX; mother, Yvonne Spencer, of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Chloe, Kenton, Jenson, Alicent, Lily, Henryk; sister, Keitha Walls and husband, Larry of Sulphur Springs.
Kent was preceded in death by his father and brothers, Tommy Boyd, Kerry Kirkpatrick, Kelly Kirkpatrick Blount.
