Ker Moua Lor

Ker Moua Lor was born in the city of Sam Nuea, Laos, on January 1st, 1945. She was the daughter of Kishoua Moua and Ntxhoo Lee, and grew up in a large family with nine siblings, four brothers, and five sisters. Ker married her late husband, Nhia Jou Lor, at a young age, and together they had ten children. Tragically, they lost three children before emigrating to the United States in 1986. In 2005, Ker was struck by loss once again when she unexpectedly lost her husband.
Despite the hardships she faced, Ker lived a long, meaningful life, providing for her family with the utmost care and dedication. She spent decades mastering the art of gardening and working in her fields, selling the fruits of her labor to support her loved ones. Her hard work paid off, paving the way for a better life for her children and their families today.
Ker is survived by her six daughters: Pa (Qhua), Khoua (Houa), Chee (Zhe), Bee (Teng), Kabao (Larry), Xia (Kou); her son James (Gabby); and her 21 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Though she has passed on, her unwavering commitment to her family and her unbreakable spirit will continue to inspire all those whose lives she touched.
Visitation will be held on Saturday May 4, 2024, from 8:00AM until 12:00AM at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 380 W. Bluemound Rd., Waukesha. Mass will be held on Monday May 6, 2024, at ST. MICHAEL'S CATHOLIC CHURCH 1445 N. 24th St. Milwaukee, from 9:00AM-11:00AM Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
