Flesness, Kermit O. age 88, of Hopkins, died April 2, 2007 in St. Paul. Survived by children, Sandra Toomey of York, PA, James of St. Bonifacious, MN, Terry Dougherty of Parker, CO and John of Waconia, MN; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. Also survived by siblings, Vincent of Mpls., Jeanette Vilen of Rochester, MN and Gloria Cunningham of Lakewood, CO. He served during WWII in Army Battery A, 151st Artillery, 34th Division. Memberships included the Hopkins Elks BPOE Lodge 2221, Disabled American Veterans and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He attended Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Excelsior. Contributions in lieu of flowers to Our Lady of Good Counsel, 2076 St. Anthony Ave., St. Paul, MN 55104. Interment Fort Snelling. Funeral service 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 11, with visitation one hour prior at: Washburn-McReavy Strobeck Johnson Chapel 1400 Mainstreet, Hopkins 952 938-9020
