Deborah "Debby" Jean Flesness

Deborah “Debby” J. Flesness, age 76 of Belle Plaine, passed away on December 25, 2025 in Faribault, MN.

A Sharing of Memories will be at 1:00pm Saturday, January 17, 2026 at St. Peter Funeral Home, 906 N Washington Ave St. Peter MN followed by visitation until 3:00pm. Memorials can be directed toward the Mayo Clinic Foundation for cancer research.

Deborah Jean was born October 13, 1949, in Sioux Falls, SD to George and Ruth (Krohn) Rehschuh. She was united in marriage to James Kermit Flesness in 1974 in Robbinsdale, MN. They lived many places in the metro area, before settling in Belle Plaine, MN. Debby worked at General Mills for 26 years and later held office jobs at US Aquatics, Trinity Lutheran Church and a retirement home. She enjoyed bookwork, spending time with her grandchildren and taking care of her home. She also knitted hundreds of hats for Sharing and Caring Hands. But most importantly, she enjoyed time with her family.

Left to remember Debby is her husband of 51 years, Jim; son Michael (Tiffany) Flesness; grandchildren: Mya, Mason and Clarice; siblings: Nancy Olmstead, Ric (Kathy) Rehschuh, and Ron Rehschuh; Sibling-in-laws: Sandy Toomey, Terry (Greg) Dougherty, John (Rebecca) Flesness, Vicki (Kevin) Cartwright, Shari Bruce, Jeannine (John) Grothe, and Kathy (Brent) Sueker; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
