Kermit Louis Richardson

Kermit Louis Richardson was born July 14, 1951 to Kermit and Lou Boone Richardson of Nash County. He was a graduate of Nash Central High School class of 1969, afterwards he enlisted in the United States Air Force and retired serving 20 years. In August of 1972 he and Charlean Skinner were joined in marriage and had three children. He also was employed and retired from Nash County Sheriff's office and Fountain Correctional Facility. He was a member of Pine Chapel Baptist Church in Hollister, NC. He was a wonderful friend and neighbor.
He's preceded in death by a son, Keito Antonio Richardson; his father Reverend Kermit Richardson; two sisters, Gracie Richardson and Lillian Richardson.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his loving wife of 51 years, Charlean Richardson of Nashville, NC; daughter, Kiwanya Richardson of Greenville, NC; son, Kermit Louis Richardson Jr (Cindy) of Williamston, NC; two grandsons, Christopher Jones and Caidan Richardson of Williamston, NC; two granddaughters, Isabella Richardson of Greenville, NC and Olivia Richardson of Williamston, NC; his mother, Lou Richardson of Nashville, NC; brother, Herbert Richardson (Patricia) of Lumberton, NC; two sisters, Mary Clinton of Nashville, NC and Melba Hooker (Walter) of Bellevue NE; three sisters in law, Joyce Evans ( Roy), Jackie Lynch and Doris Best all of Rocky Mount, NC; one uncle and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation with the family will be Saturday, January 27 at 10 a.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home.
