Kerry Dewey Browne, 52, of Providence Street in Norwich, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at W.W. Backus Hospital.

Born on November 1, 1972, in Norwich, Kerry was the beloved daughter of James F. Dewey and the late Jane T. (Confrey) Dewey.

Kerry devoted many years of her life to teaching English, a profession that reflected her love for language, learning, and inspiring others.

Kerry was a free spirit who found joy in exploring the world. She loved to travel and took every opportunity to immerse herself in new cultures and experiences. She was also deeply artistic, always creating and crafting.

She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Browne; her father, James Dewey; and her three brothers, Jim Dewey, Jeffrey Dewey, and Bill Dewey. She was predeceased by her mother, Jane.

Family and friends are invited to a calling hour on Friday, July 25, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Cummings-Gagne Funeral Home, 82 Cliff Street, Norwich, CT. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM, with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery, Norwich.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kerry's memory may be made to Habitat for Humanity.
