Kevin R. Barlow

Kevin R. Barlow, age 53, of New Castle, Delaware, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born in Wilmington, Delaware, on May 24, 1971, he was the son of Kenneth R. Barlow, Sr. and Beverly (Gary) Barlow. Kevin worked up to his successful career as branch manager at City Electric.
A passionate football fan, Kevin was a loyal supporter of Alabama Crimson Tide football and the Kansas City Chiefs. He found great joy and peace in fishing and took every opportunity to be outside or on the water. Kevin also devoted much of his time to his community, coaching his children's sports teams and contributing to various youth sports organizations throughout the years.
Above all, Kevin's greatest pride and joy were his children. A devoted father, he treasured every moment spent with Zachary and Emily. Kevin will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and generous heart that left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Earl and Dolores Gary, and Edwin and Catherine Barlow.
Kevin is survived by his son, Zachary Barlow (Breana); his daughter, Emily Barlow (Aaron); his identical twin brother, Kenneth Barlow, Jr. (Janice); and his younger sister, Shea (Drew); his niece, Amber; and nephews, Matthew, J.J., Justin and Jordan. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his extended family and many dear friends.
A celebration of life will begin at 11 am on Friday, May 9, 2025, at the Minquadale Fire Hall, 129 East Hazeldell Avenue, New Castle, DE.
