Kevin Baron Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Carafa Family Funeral Home, Inc. - Chelsea on Dec. 6, 2025.
Kevin Michael Baron, born on July 27, 1970, in Revere, MA, passed away on December 1, 2025, at his home in Beverly due to complications from end-stage renal disease and peripheral artery disease. He was a beloved husband, stepfather, son, brother, uncle, great uncle, dog parent and friend.

Kevin was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was marked by his love, compassion, courage, strength, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends. His passing left a void in the hearts of his family, friends and many more whose lives were touched by him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Kevin is survived by his loving wife Heather (Quinlan) Baron; stepson Aidan Brymer of Quincy and stepdaughter Fiona Brymer of Everett; mother Kathleen (Sheehan) Baron and partner Frank Picardo, both of Everett; brothers Thomas C. (Tom) Baron & Christopher (Chris) and his wife Carol Ann (McKenna) Baron, of Everett; brothers-in-law Daniel (Mike) Quinlan, Jr & Colin Quinlan and wife Liliane; sisters-in-law Melissa Quinlan & Maura (Molly) Quinlan; niece and nephews Stephen & Tommy Baron, Felicia (Pina) Hill & husband Jerome II, Gabe Pina, Jude & Liam Douglas, and Vincent Quinlan; great-nephew Jerome III and great-niece Zamia; and doggy daddy to Luna and Leo. Predeceased by his father, Thomas R. (Tom) Baron.

Kevin lived most of his life in Everett, and attended public school there, graduating Everett High in 1988. He worked in the automotive parts industry for 35 years, and was a proud customer service and auto parts expert, who earned certification from Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) organization.

Kevin was known for his humor and wit, warmth and charm, loyalty and authenticity, and generosity. Besides his family and friends, the other great loves of Kevin's life include New England sports team (especially the Red Sox, watching every single game during baseball season), rock music (Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne were his favorites), and classic cars. He was recognized throughout Everett, driving around in one of his many cool cars, with the signature PNKFLD license plate. He was also a dog lover, and a fierce supporter/advocate for Pit Bulls and dog rescues and adoptions. He loved and spoiled his pups Luna and Leo rotten.

Once he and his wife Heather bought their home in Beverly nearly 12 years ago, he took great pride and joy in entertaining family and friends, impressing everyone with his killer BBQ skills, sharp one-liners, and legendary stories about growing up in Everett. He had a gift for making any/all feel at home.

But perhaps what Kevin was best known for was his generosity of spirit. There was nothing he wouldn't do, or give, to his family and friends, and was often the first person contacted when someone was in need. Nothing was too big or too small of an ask, and he never expected anything in return. When he became seriously ill 3 years ago and his mobility became limited, he never felt sorry for himself, but rather regretted that his illness prevented him from helping others. If he met you, you became a friend; if you were a friend, you were family; if you were family, he gladly gave all the love he had to give. He was truly remarkable, and unforgettable.

Although Kevin's physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. He loved and was loved.
