Kevin J. Becker

Kevin J. Becker of Walden, NY passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh. NY. The son of Charles and Bridget Gallagher Becker, he was born on August 28, 1949 in Brooklyn, NY. He was 72 years old. Kevin served in the US Navy during the Viet Nam era. He was a retired butcher for the government, a retired butcher for Shop Rite, Montgomery and a member of the USCW Local 464A, Little Falls, NJ.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Michelle Stelljes Becker at home, sons: Kevin Becker and his wife, Lissette of New Jersey; Brian Angora and wife, Carrie of Walden; and Joseph Miller and his wife, Becky of Washington state; daughter: Jacqueline Babcock and her husband, Thomas of Wurtsboro; sisters: Grace Russo and her husband, John of Staten Island; and Peggy Arsenault and her husband, Norman of Palm Coast, Fl; grandchildren: Michael, Emily, Angela, Brayden and Taylor; in-laws, Herman and Joyce Stelljes of Walden; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Charles and Danny Becker.
A visitation will be held from 2-5 PM on Sunday, May 8 at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, 39 Orchard St., Walden, NY. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, May 9th at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Orange County Veterans Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Town of Montgomery Food Pantry, PO Box 423, Montgomery, NY 12549.
