Kevin James Beer

Kevin James Beer, 65, of Decatur, Indiana passed away early Friday morning, September 22, 2023, at his residence following a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on February 2, 1958, in Decatur, Indiana to the late Wendell J. Beer and the late Carol S. (Archer) Beer.
Kevin was a member of the Eagles Aerie #2653 in Decatur.
He retired from Fleetwood following nearly 30 years of service.
Kevin loved his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He was a fiercely competitive sportsman, a huge fan of the Baltimore Orioles, played in a Horseshoe League, and enjoyed cornhole. He loved the great outdoors, fishing, and arrowhead hunting. He was a Big Foot believer, because, in Kevin's world, anything was possible. While spending time outdoors he enjoyed tending to his garden. But above all, Kevin loved his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Lindsey (Ernesto) Morua of Fort Wayne, Indiana; daughter, Kasey Beer of Decatur, Indiana; son, Logan (Ashley) Beer of Fort Wayne, Indiana; girlfriend, Julie Roman of Decatur, Indiana; brother, Victor Beer of Decatur, Indiana; brother, Brian Beer of Billings, Montana; sister, Wendy (Daniel) Towne of Gilbert, Arizona; his beloved dog, Bud Weiser Beer; two cats, Ace and Ozzy; and eight grandchildren.
Kevin was preceded in death by his partner, Lori Beer.
Private family services will be held with burial in Decatur Cemetery.
Preferred memorials can be given to ACCF – Cancer Fund.
