Kevin Benjamin Blakely, 20, of Snellville, Georgia, entered into eternal rest and went to be with the Lord on August 7, 2025. Born on May 25, 2005, in Snellville, Kevin brought light, laughter, and love to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Kevin cherished his family deeply - his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends were the center of his world. His generous spirit and readiness to lend a hand in any way he could made him a source of comfort and joy to many. A young man of many passions, Kevin loved gaming, cooking, skateboarding, and creating music. His creativity and adventurous spirit were matched only by his kindness and willingness to help others, no matter the task. Kevin is survived by his loving parents, Kevin and Shonda Blakely; his beloved sister, Amari Blakely; grandmother Beverly Jones and grandfather Christopher Jones; grandmother Sandra Thomas and grandfather Rodney Thomas; uncles Preston Blakely, Christopher Jones, Cambron Jones, aunt Symphonie Jones; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends and admirers who will forever cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Preston Blakely. Kevin's bright smile, big heart, and gentle spirit will be dearly missed but never forgotten. His legacy will live on in the lives of those he touched. A celebration of Kevin's life will be held at Gregory B. Levett & Sons, Lawrenceville Hwy., on August 15. 2025, with burial to follow at East Shadowlake Memorial Gardens. Friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, and honor the beautiful life Kevin lived. SJB
