Kevin Bodnar, aged 62, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024. He leaves behind a loving family: daughters Jill (Jake) Miller, Dawn (Marco) Giovanni, Michelle (Scott) Billings, and son Donald. He adored his granddaughter, Eva, who brought immense joy to his life.
Kevin was a cherished brother to Chrisanne Giera (married to the late Jim), Patrice Gordon (married to the late PJ), Celene Remley (married to the late Bruce), and Lisa Kasberg (married to Mark), Cory (married to Tracie), Craig (married to Barb) and the late Keith. He was also a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Kevin also leaves behind his beloved dog, Kali, who was a loyal and cherished companion.
Kevin's deep friendships were a testament to his kind-hearted and loyal nature. Throughout his life, he maintained lifelong friendships with many that were a source of great joy and support. He valued and nurtured these relationships, always making time for those he cared about.
A lifelong resident of Parma, Ohio, Kevin was a dedicated plumber in the Cleveland area for over 40 years. His commitment and skill in his profession were well-known, and he took great pride in his work, serving the community with excellence and integrity.
Kevin found peace and happiness by the water, whether at the beach or on a boat. He was passionate about great music and loved hosting parties for his friends and family, creating memories that will be cherished forever. He had a great love for food and found immense joy in cooking for his friends and family. His culinary creations were always a highlight at gatherings, bringing everyone together around the table to share in his love for good food and good company.
Kevin's warmth, generosity, and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A private celebration of life ceremony will be held for close family and friends to honor Kevin's memory.
Memorial contributions can also be made in Kevin's name to the COPD Foundation.
