Kevin Brulé Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Flanigan Funeral Home & Crematory on Sep. 15, 2025.
Kevin John Brulé, age 71, of Dacula, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 11, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raoul and Louise Brulé. Kevin is survived by his beloved wife of twenty years, Joell Houk Brulé; his son, Kyle (Anna) Brulé of Hoschton, Georgia; cherished granddaughter, Blakely Brulé; and his brothers, Michael (Dawn Marie) Brulé, Kris (Susan) Brulé, and Pat (Roxanne) Brulé. He is also survived by several beloved nieces and nephews. Born on February 25, 1954, in Rome, New York, Kevin served his country as a proud six-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, where his ingenuity aboard the USS Connecticut earned recognition for innovations that saved millions of dollars. He graduated from Del City High School in Oklahoma in 1972 and later from the University of Texas in 1990. Following his military service, Kevin enjoyed a distinguished career as a robotics engineer with General Motors, where his exceptional skill for understanding complex systems led to groundbreaking process improvements and significant cost savings. Kevin was a devout Christian who found joy in studying the Bible and giving thanks to God for the gift of life and the beauty of each day. He loved traveling and cherished long walks with his family, savoring time together wherever life's path led. Kevin will be remembered for his keen intellect, his love of music and guitar, his enthusiasm for computer gaming, and the countless hours he spent sharing remote-control cars and airplanes with his son and brothers. Above all, he was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother whose steady presence and inventive spirit enriched the lives of all who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, with Pastor Danny Ashworth officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:30 p.m. until the time of service.
