Kevin Michael Charles

Kevin Michael Charles, 60, of Mattawan, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024, at his home. Kevin was born September 19, 1964, in Port Huron, Michigan, the son of Edwin Charles and Mary (Gleason) Charles.

Kevin had a big heart for others, he loved to help people in any way he could. He was a hard worker prior to his retirement. Kevin was lighthearted and enjoyed joking around. He was a family man and supported his kids in every and anyway possible. He was a wonderful grandfather and friend. He was very social and got along with everyone. This allowed him to make many friends easily. He was a huge rock fan and horror fanatic. Kevin also enjoyed golfing and bowling. 

Kevin is survived by his three daughters, Ashley (Jason Hendrixson) Charles, Kasey (Alexander) Sater and Kylee Charles; two grandchildren, Julius and Atreus Hendrixson; two brothers, Brian (late Lisa) Charles and Douglas (Ann) Charles along with many nieces. In addition to his mother and father, Kevin was preceded in death by his special friend and companion, Jo Solo.

Family and friends are invited to gather Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. for a memorial service at Adams Funeral Home, 502 West Michigan Ave., Paw Paw. Following services, visitation will continue until 8:00 p.m. Kevin will be laid to rest at Almena Cemetery.
