Kevin P. Creutz

Kevin Paul Creutz, 61, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away on August 31, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 11, 1962, in Toledo, Ohio, to his parents, Paul and Rosemary (Panuto) Creutz, where he was raised the youngest of three siblings. He attended elementary school at St. Jerome Catholic School and later attended Cardinal Stritch Catholic High School, graduating in 1980. He furthered his education at Bowling Green State University where he earned a bachelor's degree in finance. He worked hard and had a strong career in the banking and investment industries. He served as a branch manager for many years at Wells Fargo and later began his own private investment firm at Perrysburg Financial.
After graduating from BGSU, Kevin married the love of his life, Joy (Lisiakowski) Creutz, on June 13, 1987. Together they raised two daughters who were his everything. He was an amazing dad who was very involved in his girls' lives and supported them in everything that they did. He gave them great financial advice and had the greatest sense of urgency when it came to helping his family get things fixed. He was the first to problem solve and always made sure that his immediate and extended family was taken care of. In his free time, Kevin loved all things sports and was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. He also enjoyed playing golf, watching car races, and loved the stock market.
Kevin was a proud 'Grandpa', 'Papa', and 'Grumpa' to his four grandchildren, and was a very loving family man. His wife, Joy, was affectionately known to him as the best cook, and his sweet dachshund, Minnie, was his best pal. He was a faithful man who strove to serve God and was blessed with the ability to offer great perspectives and always knew what to say to others, even in the most difficult situations. He was his family's go-to person and was deeply loved. He will be incredibly missed by all who knew him and will always be remembered.
Kevin is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Joy Creutz; daughters, Erin Prater, Kelli (Alex) Geis; grandchildren, Jack and Callie Prater, Gabi and Carli Geis; mother, Rosemary Creutz; siblings, Cathy Davis, Robert Creutz. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; father, Paul Creutz; brother, Michael Creutz; nephews, Andy Smoot, Brandon Kusz; father and mother-in-law, Anthony and Paula Lisiakowski.
