Kevin Lee Cribb 1999 - 2021 Iron Station – Kevin Lee Cribb, 21, passed away tragically on April 19, 2021, in Kansas. Kevin was born in Gaston County on September 9, 1999, to Shannon Cribb and Amanda Martens Cribb. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Millie Roberts Cribb. He was a graduate of East Lincoln High School; where he took great pride serving on the yearbook staff. After graduating Kevin proudly joined the U. S. Army; serving 3 years throughout the United States. He was currently serving at Fort Riley, Kansas. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed animals, music, reading, and writing stories and poems. He also enjoyed fantasy things like Harry Potter movies and books. But most of all, he loved his family dearly. Kevin was a loving son, grandson, brother, and friend to many. Left to cherish his memories is his loving family, father Shannon (Sarah Powell) Cribb; his mother, Amanda Martens; his siblings, Damion Lee Martens, Trey Allen Cribb, Alston Bradley Worthey, Andrew Clayton Worthey, Chivonne Michelle Worthey, and Nichole Powell; his grandparents, Roger Cribb and Linda Martens; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m., until 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 30th at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with a 7:00 p.m., Funeral Service to follow in the Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 1st at Cribb Family Cemetery, 18108 Peacock Road, Whiteville, NC 28472 with Military Honors provided by the US Army. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, if you feel the need to stay home, a card or phone call to the family will be appreciated. The Celebration of Life service will be live streamed for those who wish to attend virtually. Please visit our website and click the "Live Stream" tab to view the live event on our Vimeo page.
