Kevin John Deacon, 30 of South Barrington, IL was born on October 24, 1988 in Mount Kisco, NY and passed away in an accident on August 25, 2019 in Chicago, IL.
Kevin loved life and lived it with no regrets! He was baptized as a young adult at Willow Creek Community Church. Kevin graduated from Barrington High School with Honors in 2007 and graduated from Carthage College with Honors in 2010 with a degree in Business. He was a member of various technology organizations and was employed at V-Soft Consulting as a technical recruiter in a job and industry he loved. He was an avid soccer player and spent much of his youth and adult life playing on various teams. Kevin was very passionate about his friends and family. He loved to both play and invent games. Kevin was always looking for an adventure and loved to travel frequently while also attending as many concerts and music festivals as he could. He had a tremendous passion for inspiring and encouraging others to live life to its fullest. He brought SO much joy to many people and will be missed greatly by all who knew him.
Kevin was the beloved son of Dave and Karen Deacon; dear brother of Shawn, Kathryn, Tyler, and Kaelyn Deacon; grandson of Gene and Phyllis Hoenecke; loving boyfriend of Abby Andrews; and nephew, cousin and friend of many.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Nancy Deacon, and cousin, Keith Belt.
A Memorial Visitation for Kevin will be held from 4-8pm on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main Street (Lake-Cook Rd.), Barrington, IL. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2pm on Friday, August 30, 2019 at Deer Grove Covenant Church, 225 E Helen Rd, Palatine, IL.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Kevin's name may be made to Camp Paradise, Willow Creek Community Church, 67 E. Algonquin Road, South Barrington, IL 60010.
