I really miss Kevin. We were very close growing up. We were in our first bands together and spent several years in the Haze. As kids. we would stay over at each other's house and have the times of our lives. He had such a great sense of humor and was a kind and caring person. Kevin made a really nice toybox for our daughter in the mid 80's. We never asked for one. He just made it out of the kindness of his heart. He was always doing thiings like that.
It's so hard to believe that he's gone, but we will see each other again at some point. I was so blessed to have him in my life. Rest in peace, my friend.

Kevin and I grew up together, he spent so much time at our home he was family. We were band mates together, even at the young age of 13 he taught us so much. I was always in awe of him when he sat behind the drums. The stories of things we did together never got old. Aside from his musical talents, which were unmatched, he was a phenomenal human being. He touched everyone´s life with his smile and unending sense of humor. I was so blessed to be a part of his life, he will be greatly missed.

i knew kevin from playing in the union break musical group led by guitarist dave huxtable at eastover resort in lenox, mass. a number of years ago. kevin was an excellent musician and also knew a lot about amplifying instruments with specific microphones, which we used on the drum set i played.

Kevin was a fun member of our neighborhood group of kids who grew up together on Holmes Road. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family. The photo below from 2014 includes some members of the old "hood": Kevin, and Hank Packard in the back, front left Joan, two others, Nancy, Neil, and wife Josie Hourihan. (hopefully uploaded)

I first met Kevin at South Junior High and graduated from Pittsfield High with him. He had a wonderful sense of humor, an omnipresent smile, and some serious music talent. I didn't see him again until our 40th high school reunion. Because Kevin was not technologically interested, he sent cards instead of emails. His carefully hand-written correspondence proved that he hadn't lost his sense of humor! I'm so sorry to learn of his passing at such a young age. My condolences to Kevin's family and friends.

Went camping in Yosemite a couple of times. Climbed Yosemite and Half Dome. He loved coming to CA to climb Mt Whitney with only a bag of corn nuts. He loved his music. I will miss our chats and his "Billy Bob" Christmas letters.
He always made me laugh. He would always sign off his cards to me with...and the wheels on the bus go round and round...

Dear Michael & Family:
I was deeply saddened by Kevin's death. He and I were close friends ever since junior high school.
We played cards together, rode in his Mustang together, and shared many stories (especially jokes) together.
He was a marvelous musician, having played a drum solo of Wipe Out at our 8th grade dance. We hired his band to play at our wedding reception in 1984.
We were able to remain close throughout his life. Mary and I send our love to you and yours as we remember all the joys he left us with. As we talked over the last two years, I know how much he suffered. He can now rest in peace.

I played little league against Kevin, he had one of the nastiest curveball I´ve ever had to hit. To be intimated by his mound presence is an understatement. R. I. P the man of many talents.

I'm deeply sorry about Kevin's passing. I didn't even know he had not been well until getting a Facebook post last week. Kevin and I were not close friends. But he was a classmate and more significantly a football teammate. I also greatly admired his musical talents and especially on the drums. I remember the terrific drum riffs he would play at various school dances which got huge ovations when he was done. My sincerest condolences go out to Kevin's family and to all of my fellow classmates and teammates. George Geer
