We were childhood classmates and friends. I remember the short hikes we would take when we were kids. R.I.P.

Kevin while Program Director at the Manchester YMCA trained me how to box. I was most impressed by his Special Forces training. Having served in the active duty Army later on in life I realized the sacrifice veterans make. I will always remember his calm demeanor. Sorry for your loss. Rest in peace, Kevin.

Kevin was pushing those folks back in the 80s to run up and down the "Y's" stairs while I trained the post work out folks up in the nautilus room. Along with Gary Hunter, I keep those times in my heart . Condolences to his Family.

A Great American was lost on January 1st. He was my boxing coach in the late 70's and a mentor. I have repeated the lessons he taught me to another generation, Honor, Integrity and Respect. I think of him fondly. I remembered that he wore a race shirt during his marathon runs that said "Kevin Feeney a Great American" so that people would cheer and call his name. He truly was a Great American! He will be missed. God Bless

Thomas Martin, his late brother James Martin and family.

"Grab a mat", "get a rope". It is 11am, a winter day in the early 1980's. Surrounded by a collection of high achievers, and low expectations, I start my warmup trot. Kevin, his volunteer assistants, set the pace. The gal next to me has "Bette Davis Eyes", but I'm trying to raise my leg and "get physical" while my brother dances past doing jump rope doubles. Kevin, by now sweating like a breach in the Massabesic lake dam, encourages us to reach for the sky, bend over and "let's go out for a run".
I'm so sad reading Kevin's obit. On behalf of my late brother Jim who is jump-roping on top of a mountain somewhere; I send my condolences. Thanks, Kevin, for all the laughs, the exercise, the chance to meet great new friends.

This is huge loss, not only for the Feeney family but for the world. We lost a great human being. MSG Feeney had a huge impact on me. He never got mad, he always was up front and you were one of his guys. Both my sons and I looked up to him.

Kevin was a huge mentor in my life, I survived a winter storm with my dog Kelly with the teachings that Kevin taught me.
He always spoke so highly of his wife & daughter, hike on all.

My condolences to Kathy and the family. MSG Feeney was like a father to me. He was full of sound guidance and helped me navigate my military career, always checking on me to make sure I was doing it right. He expected max effort from his Soldiers but was always there to celebrate our victories and individual achievements. A great and heroic man.

Kathleen and family: I was deeply saddened by the news of Kevin's passing. He will always be remembered as a "leader" at the YMCA. I loved his classes and his music. I often speak of him and the grand old '80's aerobic classes to the Elliot Wellness members. He will be remembered with a smile. Bless him. My condolences to you and your family.

May Kevin's memory be Eternal! I met Kevin at the YMCA when I was in junior high school. He taught me how to box and was also my box instructor. Those were wonderful days growing up in the 70's in Manchester. Godspeed to the family! May Kevin's soul rest in the arms of The Lord!

My deepest sympathy to Kathleen & all of Kevin´s family.
I will always remember Kevin leading my 1st aerobic classes at the YMCA with a steady strength & purpose. To me he was larger than life & gave me faith in my own abilities.
Truly an inspiration to this day.
I often tell my younger friends of Kevin & his fellow leaders at the Y who showed us an active, healthy path.
"One foot in front of the other" still works for me.
Kevin lives on through his words & deeds.
