Kevin Wayne Friedli, age 53, born on November 15, 1970 - August 14, 2024 in Madison WI.
Kevin W. Friedli passed away at home on August 14, 2024, after a long battle with an aggressive form of prostate cancer, which ultimately led to his unexpected passing.
Kevin was born on November 15, 1970 to Richard and Karen (Davis) Friedli in Middleton, WI. Kevin grew up and attended Middleton High School. Kevin became a waste and recycling truck driver, and worked for several trucking companies in the area until he was forced to retire, from Pellitteri Waste Systems, due to the progression of his prostate cancer. Kevin’s hobbies throughout his life included bowling, hunting, playing euchre, corn-hole, and video games, watching the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers, and most importantly, spending time with family and friends!
Kevin is survived by his wife; Barbara (Miller), his two sons; Logan (Tristen Harris) and Cade, and his brother; Ryan Friedli.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Richard and Karen Friedli.
Funeral services will be held on Friday. September 6, 2024 at Cress Funeral and Cremation services located at 1310 Emerald Terrace in Sun Prairie, WI 53590. Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m. with the funeral services from 3:00-4:00 p.m. Immediately following the service there will be a potluck to celebrate Kevin’s life at the Sun Prairie United Methodist Church located at 702 North Street in Sun Prairie. If you wish, please bring a dish to pass or a dessert to share. If you would like, you may drop off your dish/dessert to pass at the Sun Prairie United Methodist Church prior to the visitation/service. There will be someone there to assist you. Please enter at door #2, the church office, which is marked above the door.
In honor of, or to support, Kevin’s courageous fight against prostate cancer, you are welcome to wear light blue as September is prostate cancer awareness month. Kevin was a loving and inspiring husband, father, nephew, and friend to so many people! He will be forever missed by all those who knew and loved him! We will cherish and love every moment of his life!
In lieu of flowers, monetary donations to assist the family would be greatly appreciated.
