On December 13, 2014, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Carol Jean Newlin. Kevin worked various jobs throughout his life, but he enjoyed it most at Carrico Aquatics as a UV Service Technician.
Kevin enjoyed working with his hands and staying busy doing projects. He loved going up north to the family cabin, where he enjoyed spending time outdoors with his family. He especially enjoyed fishing and spending time on the river. Kevin had a special connection with his grandchildren and loved teaching them new things and telling the kids all the stories from his travels. Kevin was very proud of all of his kids and grandkids. He was kind and fun loving and very patriotic. He was also fond of his dogs, Leni Lou and Izzy Sunshine.
