Kevin Koontz Obituary
Kevin Frank Koontz, age 67, of Gladwin, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2025. He was born on January 15, 1958, the son of Ross and Carolyn (Peters) Koontz Jr., in Clare. He married the love of his life, Robin Rogers, and together they shared many years filled with love and cherished memories. Kevin was employed as a truck driver for Fisher Transportation in Mount Pleasant for 22 years until his retirement. Kevin loved working on the farm and gardening. He enjoyed going for drives and being spontaneous. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his beloved wife: Robin; children: Brandon (Sarah) Koontz, Dustin (Madison) Koontz, and Raven (Josh) Geer; grandchildren: Branson, Kallin, Parker, Calvin, Oliver, Lucy, Lydia, and Jude on the way; sibings: Linda (Dell) Gower, Jeff Koontz, and Terry (Rita) Koontz; mother-in-law: Jerrie Rogers; sister-in-law: Paula; along with several nieces and nephews and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Ross and Carolyn; brother: Leonard Koontz; brother-in-law: Tracy Rogers; and sister-in-law: Sally.
Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
