Robert “Terry” Turner, age 86, of Gladwin, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026. He was born on August 19, 1939, the son of Robert Turner and Gladys Gage, in Parkersburg, WV. ON January 20, 1962, he married the love of his life, Joan Garvey. Together, they shared 64 years filled with love and cherished memories. Robert was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. In 1962, he started working as a Firefighter in the City of Wayne and continued for 27 years until his retirement in 1989. Robert loved his family, cherishing every moment he spent with them.
He is survived by his beloved wife: Joan; children: Scott (Lisa) Turner and Lisa (Rodney) Foster; grandchildren: Kara Turner, Alexandria (Johnnie) Eggenberger, Adeysia (Tre) Foster, Jonah (Emily) Brown, Aynslie Foster, Austin Michael (Aspen) Turner, Madison Turner, Brianne (Riley) Morgano, Brielle (Alex) Avendano, Brennen Green, and Timothy (Samantha) Lopez; 10 great-grandchildren; brother: John Gage; along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son: Michael Turner.
Funeral services will take place on Friday, March 6, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. Visitation will take place from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
