Kevin B. McFay II

Kevin B. McFay II, 41, of Fargo, ND passed away on Friday, September 15, 2023.
Kevin is survived by his partner Martina Shelton; his children, Davaun, Trevell, Dravyn, Jakari, Jaylee, Jalsey, A'mya and Edith McFay; his father, Kevin (Denise) McFay Sr.; brother, Zachary McFay, sisters, Latashia Deloney, Christina Hendrickson, Kim Hendrickson; and his aunt, Ivy McFay
Kevin was born July 13, 1982, to his parents, Kevin McFay Sr. and Edith McPherson in Berkley, CA. He lived his younger years in Oakland, CA until 2004 when he moved to Fargo, ND where he would spend the following years establishing his family. Kevin made a career of industrial painting. Kevin enjoyed the outdoors, writing, getting things done and any and all roles that were manly. He enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, jet skiing, being by water and just simply being with friends and family. To Kevin there was no greater place than to be standing on a hot day in front of the grill with a cold beer in his hand and his kids next to him.
Kevin is preceded in death by his mother, Edith McPherson; his brother, Karlton McFay; his grandmother, Dorothy McFay and grandfather, Fred McFay; grandmother, Faye McPherson and grandfather, Blake McPherson; sister, Rebecca Hendrickson; and his nephew, Terrance Deloney.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 2:00 PM with a visitation one hour before the service at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN. A livestream of the service will be available here on Kevin's page.
