My deepest sympathy to Kevin´s family and friends.
My brother, Bob Comeau, considered Kevin his best friend. They had many travel adventures together over the years. They had many adventures together even at home in Anchorage!
The last time I saw Kevin was at my brother´s Celebration of Life in June 2022. The two rascals are together again raising a little hell in heaven. Oh boy, I can only imagine!!
He left this world way too young. May he rest in peace.

Mike and I met Kevin through our daughter, Misha, about 15 years ago. We were always happy when Kevin could join up with us for any of our outings when we came to town to visit Misha. After we retired and moved to the Valley we got to know and love Kevin on a whole new level. When Kevin wasn't traveling he would come to our family celebrations. He was so well traveled, wicked smart, fun and thoughtful and we all looked forward to his visits. I got interested in essential oils in 2017 and to my surprise, so was Kevin. We had lots of fun talking oils and teaching each other what we would learn, exchanging recipes and trading when we got one we especially loved or one we didn't care for.
Our granddaughter was born in March 2020 and Kevin became Unkie Mizz to her. Kevin would put real thought into gifts he would pick up for her on his travels and he took such joy in watching her enjoying them. I laughed so hard at how cute they were when he bought her a princess gown and while she was wearing it he taught her how to curtsey and he would bow back to her. She loved going to visit Unkie Mizz and Buddy and often tells us that she misses him.
In August 2020, Kevin was looking for a new bookkeeper and offered me a job working for his pull tab business. Kevin and I would call one another for a quick business call and end up several hours later saying goodnight. He was just so smart and always had me laughing. More than once I would jot a little something he said down, to Google it at a later date or to remind myself of movies he would recommend. Often during these long phone calls, Mike would chime in and the three of us would chit chat via speaker phone, into the night.
Kevin was a true friend; one you could laugh and cry with, one who listened and one shared. He was funny, smart and thoughtful and now he is so missed.

First, I´d like to express my condolences to the whole Meiners family
I met KEVIN when he was 23 ,when his parents bought him the Rippie World business. He instantly became one of my biggest customers and one of my favorites. KEVIN had a huge heart literally would give you the coat off his back if you needed it.
I´ll share one story.
KEVIN took my sister and I to the opening night (Nov. 6th 2006 ) of the legendary pop star "Prince" in Las Vegas. It was opening night of Prince´s new night Club 3121 in the Rio. The show was supposed to start at 9 PM, but Prince didn´t show up till midnight. KEVIN had bought us all tickets, but they were standing room only . When the show was about an hour from starting. He said forget this and bought us a table -"table service in Vegas is not cheap -1200.00 ... there were five of us, and we managed to polish off 2 huge bottles of Grey goose vodka. We were sitting next to Michael Jordan and Kevin dared me to go get his autograph so I climbed under the red ropes. Got my ticket signed and brought it back. Prince played till four in the morning, literary the best night of my life as far as entertainment ...Somehow we made it back to our hotel room?
just one example of KEVIN`s open Heart and love of being in the present. I could tell you more , but anyone who knew Kevin I´m sure has their many stories of his kindness and care for others. I will greatly miss him, and he will be greatly missed by all. All my love to all his wonderful family and friends
You will missed greatly. I feel fortunate that I had what little time we all do on this earth to meet such a great person as KEVIN - Love Bill.

I remember one summer when Kevin was 1-2 years old and visiting Appleton with my sister Donna for her annual summer trip with the boys. Oh how Grandma Eunice looked forward to those visits! I was in my early 20s and home from Madison. I took Kevin for a long stroller ride down to the park- I think Donna and Grandma may have been busy with Don there too. I was a little nervous Kevin might start crying-me being inexperienced with babies-but he loved that stroller ride! And his face lit up when I picked flowers! We had a ball-all giggles!
A foreshadowing of the sensitive man Kevin would become.
I wish I could have spent more time with Kevin as an adult. He was a joyful person and will be missed! Love Aunt Lynn

When I think of Kevin, I think of him as a sweet, sensitive, somewhat shy, smiling younger boy. That´s because my sister Donna, Kevin´s Mom, would bring the boys to Wisconsin in summer to visit his grandparents, Aunts/Uncles and cousins.
We always had so much fun! Going to water parks, having cookouts in the back yard, swimming in lakes, camping and going to the family reunions where we would do skits. Kevin was quite excited to be the Mask character in a skit she did with her boys!
Kevin loved French fries, and candy! Me too...
We love you Kevin and will miss you so
Love Aunt Roxanne

I live in Minneapolis and am one of Kevin's Aunts. My sister, Donna, is Kevin's Mom.
I met Kevin for the first time when his Mom brought him to Minneapolis for a visit. Kevin must have been only 2 or 3 years old. I'll never forget little Kevin running wildly around Loring Park chasing birds and squirrels. So cute.
I remember going to Juneau to watch over Kevin and his brother Don while their Mom was busy birthing their youngest brother Tom. (Mac was gone fishing.) Kevin, Don and I would bike to the local park - hang out there for a while - then bike around on the trails. Young boys on their bikes - Fun!
From 2008 to early 2013 I was so lucky to get a job working for Mac and Kevin in Anchorage. I was the bookkeeper for Rippie World - the charitable gambling business. Best job I ever had. I loved working for Mac and Kevin.
I think of Kevin as being very much into the arts. His BA in film got him going. Kevin liked to travel to New York and other places for shows and events. One of my favorite memories is Kevin, his Mom and I attending the Anchorage opera annually with tickets that Kevin purchased.
Kevin also a collector. One of his largest collections was of films - DVDs and whatever. He had a huge collection - all well organized and packed into a room in Kevin's oh so cool apartment.
Kevin was a very special person. He will be missed.
All my love to Kevin's family and friends.

Cousin Kevin, it sounds like you were an amazing person! I wish the miles between us hadn´t kept us from getting to know each other better.
May you be in peace.

Kevin as a child, was all smiles and laughter. I was lucky to know Kevin, my sister's son and he took me to my first opera in Anchorage.
