Kevin Michael Montgomery of Conroe, Texas passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully at home with his wife Kim by his side, at the age of 57. He was born on May 1,1964 to Kevin Michael Montgomery of Conroe, Texas passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully at home with his wife Kim by his side, at the age of 58. He was born in Austin, Texas on May 1,1964 to parents, David Montgomery and Norma Jean (Fleming) Montgomery.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Kim (Adams) Montgomery; his daughter, Ashley Patterson and husband Matt; his son, Chase Montgomery and wife Kayla; his son, Kevin Jr and wife Katie; his grandchildren: Jayce, Braelyn, and Coy Patterson, and Ryleigh and Cannon Montgomery; his best friend and brother, Scott Montgomery; his sister-in law, Marty Kay Montgomery; his cousin, Todd Montgomery (who was more like his brother); his in-laws: Morris and Mozelle Adams; his stepchildren: Chris Farrell, and Ryan Farrell and his wife Marie; his five nieces and nephews; as well as other family members and countless friends.
In his lifetime, Kevin lived in many cities in Texas and Oklahoma City. He lived in Oklahoma City for a while as a young child and then moved to Conroe where he attended Conroe schools until the 10th grade, at which time his family moved to Navasota and he finished school there. He considered Navasota his hometown.
Kevin was in the car business most of his adult life, mostly as a Sales Manager and General Manager. The car business took him to several cities in Texas over the where he made many lifelong friends.
Kevin's passions were fishing, golf, and NASCAR, but fishing always came first. He was the happiest when on the lake in his boat fishing. He loved to play golf with his Dad, and pretty sure they have already played several rounds in Heaven. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, but would root for Kim's beloved Texans. He had a great sense of humor, and everyone that knew him, knew what a smart aleck he was.
A celebration of life for Kevin will be held, Friday, September 16th at 2:00 pm at McNutt Funeral Home located at 1703 Porter Rd (FM 1314) Conroe, TX 77301.
