To the Morgan Family-

I am saddened by Kevin's loss.
I realize my words can not be of much comfort. But, I would like to express my memories. My memories of Kevin as a youth in the 1960's living next door are still clear. I remember Kevin as a good kid, funny, independent, who did what he thought was right. The Morgan family have done many good deeds to the Martin and Geene Family. Kevin was certainly good to us. May God Bless you at this difficult time.

To the entire Morgan family:

We're truly at a loss for words that can honestly express our true feelings for all of you at the untimely passing of Kevin.

As you all know, he and I were very close, and Connie and I were totally shocked and dismayed when informed of his death. We're sorry we couldn't attend the services. We are pleased that we were able to assist Kimberly and Branden while they were here to take care of Kevin's personal business, etc.

Our memories of Kevin will always remain those of a kind, caring, compassionate man that was always there when you needed him, forever thinking of what he could do for someone else before doing for himself.

He will be dearly missed.

Respectfully,

Steve & Connie Lewis

Kevin took me in as a youth when I was struggling to find out who I was. He fed me, protected me, made me laugh and always made me feel like I was someone when everyone else thought of me as no one. Every year he made us watch "It's A Wonderful Life" the original version, his favoite movie. We didn't have room for a tree so we would always decorate a "Christmas Branch". Wasn't always the prettiest, but Kevin loved it just the same. I would call him every year around his birthday and Christmas and we would laugh about these things and what it was like growing up. I couldn't reach him this year and I'll miss his laughing voice. You could always feel the smile right through the phone. I am so very sorry for your (family) loss. I don't know where I would be as a person today without his guidence back then! May God Bless your family.

I love you Daddy!!

Kevin watched over me during my misguided years of youth. He often called me to check in & make sure I was doing OK all the way up to the week before last. He always made sure everybody else was doing well. He was truly a great friend and an even better bigger brother. I will think often and fondly of the good times and at the same time will be saddened by the times I will not get to see him any more.

He could read an entire book in an afternoon. He could recite works from memory. He could understand us more than we understood ourselves quite often. He could quite simply be a friend without saying a word. He was an amazing person. I will miss you, brother.

To the entire Morgan family:
Kevin adopted me as his brother in the 2nd or 3rd grade (depending on which of us you would ask.) We graduated together and went in different directions. We reunited in 1990. Our friendship as adults weathered many storms but, always remained a float.
I will miss him greatly and share this loss with you.
