It is with a heavy heart we announce the sudden passing of Kevin David Morse, 84, of Worcester, on Sunday, April 13, 2025, in Worcester, surrounded by loved ones.
Kevin is survived by his beloved wife of 27 years, Donna (Scott) Morse of Worcester; his loving daughters from his previous marriage to Judy (Clifford) Morse, Michelle Morse and her friend Edguardo Ruiz of Beverly, Denise Luzzo and her husband Pat of Shrewsbury, Cheryl Morse and Kelly Booth of Worcester; his adored grandchildren, Katelyn Fonner (Will), Karissa Lavoie (Nik), Kacey Provencal (TJ); his dear great-grandchildren, Kinsley and Seamus Fonner, Sydney and Hannah Lavoie and Benjamin Provencal; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Kevin was also a friend of Bill W.
Born in Worcester on August 19, 1940, Kevin was one of six children born to Charles and Mary (Wynne) Morse; he leaves his siblings Peter Morse and his wife Maureen, Terry Bogue, Donna Conroy and her husband Gary, John and his wife Anne-Marie.
In addition to his parents, Kevin was predeceased by his sister Mary Virginia (Ginny) Alex and great-grandson Liam Fonner.
Kevin was a graduate of Auburn High School. After graduation he went on to enlist in the United States Army, where he served his country proudly. He previously worked at the White House restaurant in Worcester and later at Verizon starting out as a linesman and later moved into management before retirement.
Kevin truly loved running, golfing, gardening and family holidays He was an avid reader, very spontaneous when it came to traveling and especially loved bringing his grandchildren to the Cape. He was also a huge Red Sox and Patriots fan.
There are no words that can capture how much Kevin will be missed. His quick, sarcastic wit are forever ingrained into the hearts of everyone who knew him.
A period of calling hours will be held for Kevin on Friday, April 18, 2025, at 10:00a.m. until his Funeral Service beginning at 1:00p.m. in the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kevin’s memory to a charity of your choice.
