Kevin Joshua Nickell

Mr. Kevin Joshua Nickell, 44, of Waycross, GA died Tuesday (April 9, 2024) at UF Health in Jacksonville, FL surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Shelby, OH, living in Waycross, GA most of his life. Kevin was a 1997 graduate of Ware County High School and was employed at WinSupply for 17 years.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Joe Nickell, Jr.; niece, Madeline Rose Green; and Great-Grandparents, Paul and Rose Haney, Mansfield, OH.
He is survived by his parents, Larry and Kathy Nickell (Sevierville, TN); the love of his life, Rachel Rowell (Waycross, GA); the joy of his life, Maleigha Anderson (Alma, GA); sisters, Nedra (Robbie) Tillman and Kelly Green (Sevierville, TN); brother, Scott (Stephanie) Nickell (Waycross, GA); nieces, Hannah Green, Novella Nickell, Baleigh Nickell, and Gracelyn Tillman; nephews, Chandler Nickell, Colin Tillman, Isaiah Tillman, Caleb Tillman, and Trenton Green; and Great-Grandparents, Harold and Maxine Nickell (Mansfield, OH).
Kevin touched many lives through his love and compassion for others. He will be remembered most for his love of life and for his fierce loyalty to his family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday (April 13, 2024) at Youmans Chapel Baptist Church in Blackshear. Burial will follow in Waters Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 until 6 p.m. Saturday at the church.
Pallbearers will be nephews, Chandler Nickell, Andy Haney, Isaiah Tillman, and Caleb Tillman, brother-in-law, Robbie Tillman, and good friend, Bill Hickox. Honorary Pallbearers will be his co-workers from WinSupply and a large group of friends he considered "brothers".
