Kevin Robert Obituary
TROY - Kevin M. Robert, 55, of Hawthorne Ave., passed away suddenly Wednesday, August 27, 2025. Born in Troy, he was the son of the late George and Ruth Dunham Robert. He was a 1988 graduate of Heatley High School in Green Island and was Salutatorian of his class.
Kevin was a Certified Flight Paramedic and has been employed for 15 years by the Air Methods-Lifenet of New York. He was a founder of the John Ahearn Rescue Squad in Mechanicville, was a paramedic for several ambulance services including the Clifton Park and Halfmoon Emergency Corps and Malta-Stillwater EMS. He also was a paramedic instructor at HVCC, and was a member of the Waterford Knights of Columbus Council 237.
In his spare time, Kevin enjoyed spending time with his daughters and friends, and enjoying a good cigar.
Survivors include his daughters, Chloe Robert and Lauren Ross of Mechanicville. He is the brother of Ginette Kirkpatrick (Geoff) of Waterford and John Robert (Teresa) of Melrose. Several nieces also survive.
Funeral services will be Thursday, at 11 a.m., at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 569 Clifton Park Center Road in Clifton Park, N.Y.
Relatives and friends may visit with Kevin's family on Wednesday, at the church, from 3-7 p.m.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Ronald McDonald House, 139 South Lake Ave., Albany, N.Y. 12208.
