Kevin Rogers

Kevin Rogers, 62, of Walnut Ridge, passed from this life on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Chi St. Vincent North in Sherwood. He was born on September 24, 1963, in Walnut Ridge, to the late Billy Joe and Odessa (Sims) Rogers. He was a lineman for Entergy for over 35 years and was of the Christian belief.

Kevin was known for his cooking abilities and for taking people under his wing-always making others feel welcome and cared for. He loved karaoke, loud music, and the sounds of Southern country and rock. In his free time, he enjoyed four-wheeling, fishing, hunting, going to the river, and was a devoted Razorbacks fan. He cherished time spent with his grandchildren, great nieces, and his great-nephew.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Joe Rogers.

He is survived by his mother, Odessa Rogers of Walnut Ridge, and his wife, Pamela Rogers of Walnut Ridge; children, Colton Rogers (Madison) of Hoxie, and Abby Kate Rogers of Jonesboro; sister, Kimberly Rogers Simpson (Danny) of Paragould; grandchildren, Lawson Rogers and Cade Rogers; nephews, Tyler Williams (Marisa) and Seth Williams; great nieces and nephews, Quinn Williams and Oaklyn Williams, and John Henry Moore; bonus children, Shannon Ward (Wesley), and Christopher Benton; bonus grandchildren, Kaya Acker, Emma Prater, Jacob Benton, and Grayson Benton; and his beloved dogs, Kimber and Remi.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 11 A.M. until 2 P.M. in Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Walnut Ridge, with funeral services immediately following at 2 P.M. Interment will follow in the Lawrence Memorial Park Cemetery in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Mark Gardner, Christopher Benton, Gary Bookout, Greg Bunn, Tyler Williams, and Kenny Mashburn.

Honorary pallbearers are Danny Simpson, Greg Smith, and Seth Williams.
