Kevin Lee Smith, was born on October 24, 1976 in Houston, Texas. He passed away unexpectedly on October 23, 2024 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 47.
Kevin was the beloved son of Emily Mae Smith and the late Thomas Alvin Smith.
Kevin grew up in Magnolia, Texas where he enjoyed playing sports. Later in life, he worked as a Mechanical Sheet Metal Worker in Union 68 fabricating materials for HVAC systems. He had a great love for his dogs, especially his best buds, Buddy and Abby.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Emily Smith; brother, Billy Ray Smith and wife Jana; niece, Corgan Smith; as well as his aunts, cousins, extended family, and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024 beginning at 2:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home - 500 E. Hwy 80, Sunnyvale, Texas.
Following the service there will be a reception at the home of his aunt Mattie and Emily - 102 Clear Creek Lane, Terrell, TX 75160. All are welcome to attend.
