During high school, Kevin worked for his parents at their cement business. After high school, he began working as a truck driver. In 2012, he started working as an instrumentation and electrical technician for Iron Horse Midstream. He ended his career with Tulsa Heaters Midstream.
Kevin was passionate about his motorcycle, as well as drones, RC cars, and paintball. He loved to cook. He was never without a smile on his face and earned his nickname, "Smiley". He was a loving son and brother. He was always ready to help anyone.
Kevin is preceded in death by his father, Charles Thompson.
He is survived by his mother, Maxine; brother James; stepchildren, Anthony Cahill, Amber Cahill, Aaron Carlin, Braxton Cahill-Thompson, and Bryce Cahill-Thompson; Aunt Patty Sarratt; cousins Julie and Jody; as well as other friends and family.
A private memorial service will be held to honor Kevin's life at a later date.
