Kevin Waltemeyer

Kevin Waltemeyer, 62, of Marshalltown, IA passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the Iowa River Hospice House in Marshalltown. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 23, 2026, at the Albion Cemetery in Albion, IA. Anderson Funeral Homes has been entrusted with the arrangements. Kevin Lee was born June 5, 1963, to Earl and Marilyn (Fritz) Waltemeyer in Marshalltown. Marshalltown was his lifelong home, and he graduated from Marshalltown High School. Kevin worked various jobs through the years including Party Pac Popcorn, Kiowa Corp, Cleanup Crew at Swifts, and Lennox Industries. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Kevin also enjoyed watching NASCAR, especially his favorite now-retired driver, Jeff Gordon. He also enjoyed watching the Kansas City Chiefs.

Kevin will be missed by his daughters, Stephanie Waltemeyer and Taylor Waltemeyer, both of Marshalltown, five grandchildren, and his siblings, Randy (Melody) Waltemeyer, Paul Waltemeyer, Paula (Troy) Dunsmoor, and Earl Waltemeyer Jr., all of Marshalltown. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Waltemeyer, his mother, Marilyn Tordoff, and step-father, Ed Tordoff.
