Kevin M. Wilber, 63, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Boston, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on September 3, 1961, Kevin was the beloved son of Marilyn A. Wilber (O'Connor) and the late Robert R. Wilber. He grew up in North Attleboro, graduating from North Attleboro High School. Kevin attended Wentworth Institute as well as ITT Institute, where he pursued his passion for skilled craftsmanship.
Kevin was a self-employed mason who took immense pride in his work, leaving behind a legacy of excellence in every stone he laid. A devout Catholic, he was a dedicated member of Transfiguration of the Lord Parish, St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church in North Attleboro, MA.
Kevin always enjoyed an active outdoor lifestyle with activities such as yard work, golf, biking, skiing, and fishing. He remained a devoted fan of all North Attleboro sports teams and cheered passionately for the Boston Celtics, Bruins, Red Sox, and New England Patriots. He also found great joy in connecting with lifelong friends who cherished his humor, loyalty, and kind heart.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Marilyn A. Wilber; his brothers, Robert Wilber and his wife Teresa; Thomas Wilber and his wife, Fran; his beloved nieces and nephews: Robert Wilber and his fiancée Julie, Caroline Wilber, Johanna Wilber-Grady and her husband Patrick Grady, Thomas, Andrea, and Colin Wilber; his uncle, Daniel O'Connor; his aunts, Maureen Warzycha and Dorothy Wilber; and many dear cousins on both sides of the family. Kevin will also be deeply missed by his many lifelong friends.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the ICU team and many doctors who cared for Kevin at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Boston, the compassionate staff at Sturdy Memorial Hospital, and the dedicated team at the Dialysis Center of Attleboro for their long-term care and support. Kevin's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home in Attleboro, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Transfiguration of the Lord Parish, St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church, 105 Stanley St, North Attleborough, MA.
