Old Orchard Beach

Karl H. Wilber III, 71, of Old Orchard Beach, passed away after a short illness, early Thursday morning on August 28, 2025, in Scarborough.

He was born in South Amboy, New Jersey on June 23, 1954, a son of Karl H. Wilber Jr. and Grace A. Dill. He graduated from Red Bank Regional High School in New Jersey.

Karl married the love of his life Jacqueline Mary Anna Daggett.

He was a local contractor for many years. He made many relationships within the community over the years that he spoke of often.

Karl had many interesting hobbies. He enjoyed music and playing his guitar. He liked to exercise at the gym, watch wrestling and cook. Most of all he loved the time he spent with family and friends. He will be sadly missed.

He was pre deceased by his father, Karl H Wilber, Jr. and his older sister, Wendy A. Wilber.

He is survived by his mother, Grace A. Tindall, and aunt Diane Geis of Lakewood Ranch, FL., sisters Leigh (Orlando)Tellez of Sarasota, FL. and Amie and husband (Jeff) Schantz of Lakewood Ranch, FL.

He also leaves behind his loving grandchildren, Christine and husband (Brian) Iudica, Thomas Saunders, Caitlin McCormick, six great grandchildren and close friends Bobby and Sid Leslie.

He will be laid to rest near his beloved wife Jacqueline in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Graveside prayers will be held at 10AM Saturday, September 6, 2025 in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Saco. To view Karl's memorial page or leave an online condolence please visit www.cotefuneralhome.com
