Kevin Allen Wright passed away on March 2, 2026, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on May 27, 1968, in Los Angeles, California, to Ralph B. Wright and Sandra A. Stewart.

Kevin was known for his big heart, creative spirit, and youthful energy. He had many passions throughout his life, including fishing, skiing, and golfing with his brother. He proudly followed in his grandfather’s footsteps with his love of fishing, a hobby that connected him deeply to both family and the outdoors. A devoted fan of the Chicago Bears, he rarely missed a chance to cheer for his team.

Kevin also had a deep love for animals and especially enjoyed maintaining large fish tanks and catching fish to keep and care for. He was an amazing artist and someone who truly loved everyone and everything around him. Kevin remained a big kid at heart and never failed to let his enthusiasm, curiosity, and joy shine through in the things he cared about most.

He is survived by his father, Ralph B. Wright; his brothers, Robert Wright and John Mestas; his sister, Maria Mestas; his niece, Ashlon Wright; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends who will miss him dearly.

Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra A. Stewart; his baby sister, Jenny Wright; several grandparents; his Uncle Jim; and other close family members and friends.
