Khanh Bao Pham, age 64, of
Las Vegas, Nevada, was called home and went to be with the Lord peacefully, surrounded by her family, on June 6, 2025.
Khanh was born on May 26, 1961, in Saigon, Vietnam, to Collin Pham and Chau Bao Nguyen. She graduated from Drake University College of Pharmacy and became a dedicated pharmacist for over 34 years. She was an adjunct professor at Drake University College of Pharmacy and Roseman University College of Pharmacy mentoring the next generation of pharmacists. A lifelong learner, she had a deep passion for helping others. Her love for medicine was evident in the countless lives she touched-many of her patients fondly referred to her as an angel for the profound impact she had on their health and well-being.
She was a Certified Diabetes Care Education Specialist (CDCES) and completed her Fellowship in Anti-Aging and Metabolic Medicine (FAAMM). She was also completing her Fellowship with the World Society of Anti-Aging Medicine (WOSAAM) and the International Hormone Society (IHS). Khanh served as president of Nevada Pharmacist Association (NVPhA). Alongside her professional achievements, she volunteered at Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada, where she worked closely with Dr. Jameson to help establish the pharmacy. She was instrumental in numerous charitable programs offering aid to those in need both locally and throughout various Asian countries. Her compassion led her to work with the Nevada Diabetes Association, providing insulin and diabetic supplies to countless patients in their time of hardship. Khanh felt that DOLCRx (Diabetes, Obesity, and Lifestyle Consultants) Pharmacy culminated her educational, professional, and personal goals-simply stated, "she had a patient centered approach".
She is survived by her husband who were together for 24 years, Dave Peightal.; her children, Keith and Thien; her three beloved grandchildren; her father, Collin Pham; her four sisters, Chi, Kim, Phung, and Linh; and her three brothers, Thinh, Cuong, and Thanh. She was preceded in death by her mother.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12, at 5:00 PM at La Paloma Funeral Services, 2551 S. Fort Apache Road, Las Vegas, followed by a reception at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to cover medical and funeral expenses or be made in Khanh's memory to Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada (VMSN).
