Kiana Ipolani Ho'opi'i, 24, of Honaunau Hawaii passed away on March 30, 2025 at Queen's Hospital in Honolulu surrounded by her family. Kiana was born in Honolulu Hawaii on May 16, 2000 and her family moved to the Big Island when she was three years old. She was a graduate of Konawaena High School, Class of 2018. She grew up cheerleading, playing volleyball, paddling canoe, dancing hula and tahitian.
She loved to travel and lived in California for a few years. She was an entrepreneur with multiple small businesses which she started with her fiancé Tua. She loved spending time at the beach, snuggling with her fur baby Lily, planning life with her fiancé and doing everything and anything with her family!! She had a heart full of love and a contagious smile that could brighten up anyone's day! She lived life to the fullest and her pure soul and positivity will forever be remembered in our hearts and memories!
She is survived by her fiancé Anthony Matua Palepoi; mother, Ipolani Tolleson Kalua Ho'opi'i; father Smokey Lani Ho'opi'i; brothers, Kingston A. (Precious Bautista) Ho'opi'i and Keenan K. (Dane Demello) Ho'opi'i; hanai brothers, Kaikala (Lea Eskaran) Papaia, Tovaega (Madie) Uulopa, Viliamu (Tiana) Uulopa; hanai sisters, Tiana Uulopa, Misilosa Uulopa, Matelita Taumoefolau, Lina (Mark) Kamoku, and Taiana Tolleson; grandmother, Patricia M. Kalua; grandfather, Francis "Blackie" Kalua; Fur Baby, Lily. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunties, uncles, and friends.
Funeral service will be held from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2025, at the Old Airport Maka'eo Pavilion in Kailua Kona.
