Preceded in death by mother, Stella Hoopii; son, Kimo (Boy) Hoopii Jr; brother, Nu'u Ueda; and sister, Kapua Shook.
Survived by father, Robert; step-mother, Renee Shook; son, Kane H Mauga-Hoopii; daughters, Hokulani Hoopii and Kahanuola K Mauga-Hoopii; partner, Leihuanani Vinhaca; siblings, Reef (Watasha) Shook of Pahoa, Reed Shook of Kailua-Kona, Ikaika (John) Locliar of California, Robin Anderson of Connecticut, Uluwehi Lui Yen of Kaneohe, Lima Kelly Richard of Las Vegas, and Ariel Hoopii of Las Vegas; and numerous nieces & nephews.
A private viewing will be held, followed by a Celebration of Life on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at the Ainaloa Longhouse from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Please join us in honoring Kimo's memory. Casual attire is appropriate, and flowers and donations are welcome.
