Kim Carusi Obituary

Kim R. Carusi

January 29, 1960 - November 23, 2024

Carusi, Kim R., 64, of Galloway Township, passed away peacefully at home on November 23, 2024. Born in West Berlin, she grew up in Pennsauken and Medford Lakes, NJ, where she graduated from Shawnee High School. She lived in Medford Lakes, before moving to Galloway Township 30 years ago. She was employed for 30 years as a slot technician supervisor for Trump Marina, the Taj Mahal and the Hard Rock Casinos.

Kim was an artist, who loved nature. She created amazing pieces of art through her woodworking, paintings and other creative talents. She loved collecting various pieces of unique furniture, vintage items and couldn't turn down a well-used collector item, especially tools of all shapes and sizes. Kim was happiest scooting around on her chair, taking a discarded piece of wood and whittling it down to something that could be displayed in a showroom.

She loved taking care of her garden and yard, her cherished cats, her family, and friends. Kim took care of anyone that loved her back.

Kim is predeceased by her parents, John and Jean Carusi. She is survived by her siblings, Gwen Immordino of Galloway, John and his wife Stacey Carusi of Cherry Hill, Lynn Carusi of Egg Harbor Township, and Dawn Carusi of Marietta, OH; her beloved niece and nephew, Allison and J.D; and her lifelong friend, E. Judy Trimboli. Kim also left behind dozens of cousins and dear friends.

A celebration of Kim's life will take place on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave., Absecon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Atlantic County. Online condolences may be placed at www.parselsfh.com.
