Kim graduated from Central City High School in 1972 and pursued automotive technology at Central Technical Community College in Hastings, Nebraska. His relationship with Jesus was deeply personal and ever-growing, and he found great joy in fellowship and spiritual study. Kim was a man of many passions. Whether it was bowling, dancing, skeet shooting, reading, traveling the world, or savoring fine wine and bourbon with a good cigar, Kim approached everything with enthusiasm and excellence. If he did something, he mastered it. But above all, Kim was a family man. He was always present-at school functions, football games, birthdays, Thanksgiving dinners, and Christmas mornings. He loved his grandchildren fiercely and spoke of them often with pride and joy. In his final days, Kim was doing what he loved most: traveling, spending time with Jesus and his loved ones, and enjoying fellowship with his men's group. His life was full, rich, and meaningful-a testament to the love he gave and the lives he touched. Kim Jones leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering devotion to his family and faith. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." - 2 Timothy 4:7
