Mrs. Kim Marie Kramer, 67, of Galesburg, Illinois, died on Monday, March 7, 2022, at 8:40 p.m., in OSF St. Mary's Medical Hospital, Galesburg.
Kim was born on April, 28, 1954, in Galesburg, as the daughter of Kenneth and Dayle (Phillips) McMenimen. Along the way, she married Michael Kramer in Galesburg and brought four beautiful children into the world. Later on in life, they divorced.
Left to cherish her legacy are her children, Nicci (Chuck) Dillon, of Victoria, Illinois, and Dustin (April) Kramer, of Fort Collins, Colorado, her brother, Dennis McMenimen, of Germantown Hills, Illinois, and three sisters, Marlene ("Ed") Roach, of Minnesota, Mary (Mike) Morris, of East Peoria, and Dee (Jim) Kern, of Galesburg. She is also survived by eight wonderful grandchildren, Riley Kramer, Emma Kramer, Hailey Sedgwick, Ethan Kramer, Sky Kramer, Austin Tanner, Wyatt Dillon, Alyssa Dillon, and 3 adoring great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by both of her parents, two sons, Eric Kramer, and Jordan Kramer, one brother, Greg McMenimem, and one grandson, T.J. Tanner.
Kim received her education from Costa Catholic Academy and graduated from Galesburg High School in 1972. She went on to work at Osco Drugs for several years. Kim eventually moved to the Peoria area and lived there for 15 years before moving back to Galesburg. During her free time, Kim loved spending time with family and friends and playing with her cat, Athena.
Cremation will be accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in Kim's memory may be made out to the family. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services in Galesburg is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
