Kim Williams Obituary

Kim Yvette Williams, 60, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 6, 2025. She was born in Jersey City, NJ, daughter of the late Fredrick and Ruth Mason Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Byron Williams.
Kim was a mother, a wife, and friend. She cooked homemade mac and cheese, tuna salad, and other meals that her boys loved and will miss. She was always innovating the home. She played games with her three boys around the house to entertain and spend time with them, including puzzles and hiding objects for them to hunt and find. Kim had lots of friends, she never met a stranger. Most friends and family who knew her would say she was" blunt with her love", if she needed to tell you something she was never hesitant, she made sure you knew.
Kim is survived by her sons, Dyril Williams, Joseph Williams, and Jalen Williams; her brothers, Keith Williams and Kyle Williams; her nieces, Nickyle Williams and Anaya Williams; and her cousins, Denise Wilder, Merrie Harris, Chaz Harris, Diane Copeland, Derek, Henry and Nicole Lawrence.
A service to celebrate Kim's life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Mount Holly, NC. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 4:00 p.m.
Condolence messages may be sent to the family by visiting www.woodlawnfuneral.org. Woodlawn Funeral Home of Mount Holly is caring for Mrs. Williams' family.
